The Three Steps to Enjoying the Blessing of Salvation

Image
We must be able to hear  the cry of John the Baptist in the wilderness  in order to enjoy the blessing of salvation. The first step to enjoying the blessing of salvation is  to have faith that Jesus came to us as the Christ. We are set free from despair and hopelessness  when we accept Christ who came  as the true King who destroys the devil's work,  as the true Priest who breaks the power of sin and death flowing in our bodies,  and as the true Prophet who opened the way to meet God. The second step to enjoying the blessing of salvation is  through the training of breaking down  recurring problems, wounds, mistakes, and failures in the name of Jesus Christ. With the proof of God, who works beyond time and space,  the long-lasting curses of individuals, families, and family lines disappear. The third step to enjoying the blessing of salvation is that,  through spiritual battle against the devil,  all conflicts arising within th...

True Repentance that Restores the Lost Passion for the Gospel

Image
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Do not be tormented by doubt, conflict, and worry; break your arrogance first in the name of Jesus Christ. Measuring everything by your own benefit; being unable to spend for loved ones and for world evangelization; being busy with vain things;  delaying due to helplessness and incompetence; and being overtaken by the power of sin  so that a hardened heart rises up – all these problems originated from the ancient serpent, the liar and deceiver, Satan in Genesis 3. Recover the passion of Genesis 3:15  that crushed Satan's head. To recover the lost passion for the gospel is repentance. Let the gospel make your body hot  so that the heart of Christ may beat within you. If you forsake your first love and the things you did at first for Jesus Christ, the covenant given by God, and are neither cold nor hot, God will spit you out. With the light of Christ  that burns away the law of sin and death,...

When the Cross Strikes the Heart: The Changed Direction of Life and True Repentance

Image
When there is repentance that turns the direction of our lives toward God,  we bear fruit that reveals Christ in all things. Repentance is turning our lives, once heading toward destruction,  onto the path of the cross of Jesus Christ. God sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ,  and demonstrated His love for us by dying on the cross. If the cross of Christ has truly struck our hearts,  then we cannot help but change the direction of our lives. When we were acting wrongly,  leaving God, and walking the road of destruction,  Jesus Christ was pierced for our transgressions,  he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,  and by his wounds we are healed.     If we do not repent even after receiving such love, that is truly evil. The problem of fate cannot be solved through religious ideologies; it can only be changed by the gospel. Repentance is changing direction through the gospel. The gospel ...

True Repentance That Changes the Direction of Life

Image
The cry of John the Baptist that shakes the barren heart was this: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.” Repentance is not merely emotional tears. Repentance is turning the direction of your life. To change the direction of life is to deny yourself. True repentance is to abandon your own righteousness and turn only to Christ. By our own righteousness, we can never be righteous, nor can we change the course of our destiny.   All our righteous acts are like filthy rags;  we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind, our sins sweep us away. Repentance is God’s grace, through which a new work begins in our lives. You are justified freely by God's grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. Therefore, from today, proclaim the name of Christ Jesus. In the name of Jesus Christ, remove the rough stones and fill in the valleys of doubt. When Satan sifts you like wheat and drags you into the barren ground of worry and pain, hear the cry of John the Baptist pr...

The Living Community Loved by Elder Gaius, the Host of the Whole Church – 315 Nation

Image
The Apostle Paul called Gaius the elder “the host of the whole church.” Elder Gaius could become the host of the whole church because he witnessed the works of God through the Apostle Paul in the field. By walking in the truth, Elder Gaius became a beloved one, an elite of the gospel – prospering in all things and enjoying good health, just as his soul got along well. In the same way, Jesus' Love Church, where three thousand disciples like Elder Gaius are being raised, has never envied churches that merely gather crowds. A church that loses the essence of the gospel and becomes institutionalized is not a true church, but a corrupted religion. Jesus' Love Church holds the identity of the gospel with Calvary’s cross, the resurrection at the Mount of Olives, and Mark's Upper Room as its landmarks. Jesus' Love Church stands on the covenant of Acts 1:8 – world evangelization. It is a living community with one heart, whole heart, and continuation in prayer, filled with the Ho...

The Re-Creative Language that Transforms Our Thoughts Centered on the Gospel

Image
To love one another does not require much effort. If our thoughts are properly aligned with the gospel, we can love one another just as the Apostle John loved the elder Gaius. When we transform our thoughts centered on the gospel, we begin to speak the words of the gospel. The re-creative language Christians use brings prosperity to the soul, success in all things, and strength in health. "Beloved, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well." Elder Gaius, who walked in the truth, was a disciple of Christ with the image of one worthy to be called “Beloved,” and used the language of the gospel. The Apostle John’s record of Elder Gaius, Demetrius the witness of the truth, and Diotrephes the hinderer of the gospel was intended to show that the outcome of the walk of faith depends on whether we crush the serpent’s head in the name of Jesus Christ who came to destroy the devil's work. Elder Gaius walked in th...

A Gospel Community of Worship Centered on the Covenant: 315 Nation

Image
The descendants of Jacob, who possessed the covenant, were fruitful and multiplied greatly and became exceedingly numerous, so that the land was filled with them. The genealogy of the covenant recorded by Moses is directly connected to God’s work of salvation. To be related to God’s work of salvation means to be headed toward the land of Canaan flowing with milk and honey, the land where the Messiah would come. Though Joseph and all his brothers and all that generation died, the Israelites who stood within God’s work of salvation and timing were greatly blessed according to God's promise to make them as numerous as the stars in the sky and the sand of the sea. When we worship centered on the covenant just as Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob did, we will see evidence that we will increase and multiply by God’s method. This is the easiest way to overcome the world. We are not of the world, but are chosen by God. We are the remnants who carry God’s mission, the pilgrims who evang...

The Thoughts of Re-Creation, The Secret to Becoming Lovable Before God and People

Image
The twelve-year-old Jesus was not an ordinary boy. As prophesied by the prophet Isaiah, Jesus was a shoot came up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch bore fruit upon whom the Spirit of the LORD rested – the Spirit of the LORD, the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD. He was the fulfiller of the covenant. Born from the bosom of God, the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. However, Mary and Joseph, after twelve years, lost hold of that faith and searched for Jesus for three days with worry, frustration, and irritation, captured by the thoughts of the flesh. Jesus, the remnant who grew in stature and wisdom and in favor with God, knew he must be in his Father God’s house, the place of grace. However, his parents, who had strayed from the place of the covenant and grace, could not enjoy the blessing even with Jesus the Messiah right beside them. The Virgin Mary, who once sa...
