A Man After God's Own Heart: The Faith of David and the Authority of Christ

Through the prophet Samuel,

God anointed David as king and personally testified concerning him: 


"I have found David son of Jesse a man after my own heart; 

he will do everything I want him to do."  


David, whom God validated, was a person of Christ

who perfectly aligned with God’s heart

and was diligent with unwavering faith in the LORD God.  

As an expert shepherd, he testified to God's work with skillful hands.


Even if you are weak and lacking a little,

know the authority and power of the name of Christ

within the genealogy of Christ.


Then, every creature in this world will bow down to you

just as the evil spirit tormenting King Saul fled when David praised,

spiritual problems were healed as the works of demons departed from the body,

and David defeated the mighty Goliath.  


Without the authority and power of Christ, the Lord proclaimed by David,

if you mislead your children into relying on worldly confidence,

spiritual problems will inevitably arise one day.  


Do not be confused about what is right or wrong;  

subdue everything that sets itself up against God in the name of Christ alone.


Rule with the authority of Christ, govern with the power of Christ,

and take the seat where you conquer all creation and fill the earth.  


Love Christ with all your heart, soul, and mind.

When you possess and use Christ’s authority and power,

God will affirm you as His child.
