The Crucial Difference Between King Saul and David: God’s Grace Even Amid Mistakes

Through the prayer of one prophet, Isaiah, peace came to individuals, families, and even the nation.

And a shoot came up from the stump of Jesse;

from his roots, King David bore fruit of the covenant.

Like that, when we dream with God’s covenant and God’s covenant becomes our vision, the image of the Triune God, Jesus Christ, flows out from our whole being, and God’s work is fulfilled in the field.

Even while claiming to believe in God, we must admit that we are still bound by deeply engraved shamanistic superstitions.

Only by confessing with one, whole, and persistent heart that Jesus is our Lord and Christ can we advance the answers that are to come in the future.

Jesus Christ, the fulfiller of God’s covenant, is the Alpha and the Omega, the eternal God, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.

Satan always seeks to obstruct the fulfillment of God’s covenant, so that there may be no Exodus, no return from Babylon, and no deliverance from Rome, keeping people trapped in the mentality of slaves, captives, and colonies.

Nevertheless, when we hold fast to the uniqueness, the inevitability, and the necessity of Christ, engage in spiritual battle in the name of Jesus Christ, and carry within us the treasure of Christ as jars of clay, we can overcome Satan’s hindrances.

David, who possessed this mystery, never lost God’s grace even though he made mistakes, and was blessed that his house and kingdom would be preserved and established forever before God.

On the other hand, King Saul did not place the name of God, Christ, within his soul and lost God’s grace the very moment he made a mistake.

Like David, who remained within God’s providence even amidst Satan’s obstruction, if we make the gospel our content and remain within evangelism and missions through scheduled prayer, we will not lose God’s grace even in our mistakes and will enjoy the blessing of Immanuel God in the morning, in the day, and in the night. Amen!
